Hello My Little Ponies!
This post is all about the sexy mystery of the Smokey Eye!
I hope through my blogs and videos that women everywhere feel they can make any look off the runway wearable in their every day lives.
The Smokey is the classic Bad Girl look.
It can be high fashion, red carpet ready..sexy, demur, or all out daring look for a night on the town!
Creating your smokey eye is easy, here are a few quick tips::
1) Concentrate the colour on lid and lash lines
2) Blend, Blend, Blend that crease!
3) Apply 3 coats or mascara and/or falsies
4) Use tape to keep it neat or concealer to clean up mistakes.. OR keep it sexy and smudgy with your bad self!!!
MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN!!!!
If you're nervous about wearing this look, try it with a light wash of a dark shimmery shade just on the lid (not into the crease) and lower lash line. This will give you the opportunity to build up the colour to your liking.
Pair it with loads of mascara and a nude lip (or in my case HOT PINK CANDY YUM YUM! LOL!!!!).
And now for the BOLD...

Go as dark as possible and play with the shape of your eye, bring the color up past the crease and smudge that baby out!
Experiment with colour- try various shades of blues, greens, grays, and smokey purples.
Bronzed, gold, and orange smokies are HOT for Summer and Fall.
Pair it with a neon pink or red lip, or go nude and let the focus be on the eyes.
For that glossy smokey that is the RAGE on the runway, put a dab of gloss or Vaseline over the lid and let it work it's magic! Or add a bit of hematite colour glitter for that POP!
How to wear this look::
Keep a gloss handy, and choose the lip that best suits your personality.
Everything from jeans and a tee shirt (with a nice studded jacket, hello!), a chic-sexy gown, or that lingerie you've kept tucked away on that plush pink hanger in the back of your closest would ROCK with this eye!
This is a look you can dress up or down, it's sexy on it's own so you don't need to OD with sexy clothes (then you'll look a little "Lady of the Nightish" )!
Try the lighter smokey in the day and build up the intensity for an evening look.
I hope you've enjoyed this post, please comment and leave your tips, tricks, and favorite products!!!
